pat's Gravatar Any way we can get a list of those who supported as well as those who did not? We need to make a major, public effort to thank the supporters.

tony's Gravatar Suggest that we send O'Malley, Miller and Busch a "thank you" for their support. In addition, everyone we contacted that rallied in our favor!!! We need to think ahead about any possible future legislation in regard to the IT community.

MeanWays's Gravatar A way to make up tax shortfalls is to tax the credit card companies. Every time they up a Maryland residents APR by 1%; the state of Md. should get 50% of the proceeeds of the additional APR. This would at least demonstrate to its citizens that the state government is not in the pocket of the credit card companies. If they are going to let the CC companies gouge MD citizens for from 9% to 27%+ ; then the state should get 50% of the differenece between 9% and 27%+
